What did you do to your G-Body today? [2019]

I got bored and had extra paint. I may sand the Edelbrock letters down to the chrome once it’s fully cured I’m not sure yet not trying to waste too much time on it and don’t really care how it comes out not much of a detail or looks guy more function than anything which is why most likely all the work I show on the forum will probably look like it’s done by a 5 year old with a dull knife and short attention span

Sand them to give the script a brushed look then clear them.

How do you give a brushed look? I have two cans of spray on clear but both say not for over 200 degrees so I think that’s out but these were originally chrome so if I sand it without sanding off the chrome I think it will work without clear maybe

this head is stamped number 5 on the outside I just can’t take a picture because it’s too close to the ac box but I thought that was weird

Came home, took an old cowl seal I had laying around, cut it down to the proper length and BAMMO!!

Instant functioning RAM AIR!!!!

Well at least it looks like functioning ram air..........

Yea I’m a weird Florida resident I hate the weather,beach,water,people,jobs,insects, and humidity. I haven’t been very many other places in my life so I don’t have too much to compare it to but I run a little too hot for Florida I think I visited New Jersey on Christmas and though I was disappointed because I didn’t experience snow in my short time there I was in love with the cold I was hanging out in a T-shirt and jeans and it was a beautiful not humid 29 degrees.

Got the exhaust crossover plugs in with quick steel to hopefully keep them from rattling may try to run the Mondello plates too I’m not sure now tomorrow I need to sand it all flat everything is cleaned and ready for the valve covers to go back on and Intake test fitting
