Wasn't today but mostly last week. I finished all the wiring on the Holley. Ran through the Wizard. Turn the key pump primes, no leaks. Turned the motor over...No start..
spent a whole day diagnosing the problem. Injectors were not firing. ALL 8 injectors were completely shut closed. the wouldn't even click. took the out brake cleaned em a little got 7 to click one wouldn't. So I dropped them in and tried again. Started right up up obviously with a dead cylinder. Took them back off to get cleaned and flowed. 7 were good and the one was still dead. Ordered an AC delco replacement from Rockauto. should be here Saturday then we can give this another go around.

Got the newly powder coated stock wheels back with new BF Goodrich tires. One step closer to being back on the road after 33 years.
A co-worker of mine gave me a set of 14x7 Rally wheels for free last summer. They had light rust and were in need of paint, so I took them to a powder coating shop and had them done. Still want to get the beauty rings and center caps for them.

What did I do???? Backed it out so I could move in the new HF tool cabinet. Definitely well built and best bang for the buck! Finally able to sticker up something I'm proud of!....View attachment 145295
Is that the 44"? It looks good. I picked up a 44" top chest at one of their tent sales, then a couple of months later I purchased the 44" bottom that is still setting in the carport because I have not yet cleaned out the garage.

Yep, it's the 44" and I'm really impressed with the quality of it! I went to look at all the major tool boxes the last few days, and this one is built the best by far! The full width top drawer has dual sliders, as well as the bottom deep drawers compared to all the other store brand boxes having single sliders.
It's almost too fancy for my 1 car garage, looks more like a snap on or mac chest! Normally I wouldn't mis match, but I don't really care for the HF top chest, and actually like the craftsman hutch style better.

Very nice. I have came close several times at buying one. I am sure it is better than my Crapsman.

I would never get under the car with it sitting on cinder blocks and your concern is appreciated.... 🙂

I do sincerely care. No joke. Be safe.

Got to a few more little pieces done, got the seat brackets back onto the seat. Then messed with the rear interior got it mostly in but my new rear board for the 6x9's is keeping the top piece from totally sitting right. Thinking I will have to take off the third brake light to pull it and then put the top interior piece in then reassemble. Cleaned up some stains on the carpet from sitting so long, looks like I got them out but will have to see when it dries. Got the lower headunit into where it is going to be for the most part, the real bummer is that I haven't been able to find a way to hack the upper headunit to be able to control the RideTech app which was one of the main reasons for getting the second head unit. Then finished off with attaching the flannel pieces to the front door lowers.

Got a call here in the last hour from Mosteller Auto Repair. The mechanic found the Pump to Carburetor fuel line crimped (Which I suspected). They wanted to know since I was supplying the parts if I was going to order one, which I did from a company called "Right Stuff" but ended up getting a line only half the size that was needed. Thus I am allowing Mosteller to find the Fuel Line and replace it. It's probably going to be some time next week that I will pick her up. Crossing fingers that nothing really bad springs up.
