Ill swap you a Timmies coffee for DD !! ( and yes I know he's got a McD's coffee in the cupholder )
Oddly enough, I'm not that much of a coffee snob, but WILL NOT get McD's. I've already shown my penchant for "shitty coffee" in the now deleted "Corona Virus" thread when I cleaned off my workbench. 😉

Installed the switches and door panels and got it out for a cruise around the neighborhood while it wasn’t over 100 degrees outside.

windows work great, especially with the relay setup. Locks don’t work. Very frustrating. I can hear the relay click so I know powers going to them, I’m wondering if it’s a ground issue. In the mean time though, I’m just happy the interior is back together and useable.
I like how the blk on blk turned out. I also see you have the door pull straps. Which model do you have?, I do not remember.
On the locks not working, did you test them before installing the panels? One possibility is the one rod sliding over the other rod, or it fell off of the toggling angle.
The rod extending from the lock solenoid first fits onto the rod from the manual pull knob, which then inserts into the angled toggle. If you did this correctly, you already know that you need octopus hands/arms to accomplish this, quite difficult to hold and assemble all of those parts by yourself.

Thank you! I have a Monte Carlo SS. Yes, the locking rods are such a pain to get all aligned, especially with these bear paws I have for hands. I think the rods are fine, I have a feeling it has to do with the grounding of the relay housing. What a terrible setup from factory.

I'm in the middle of replacing body mount bushings. On one hand I'm thinking what the hell did I get myself into and on the other it's not as bad as I thought and it needed to be done. I'm hoping to get it back together this weekend to take it for a spin.

I ran into the passenger side #4 bolt not even being there, #2 passenger snapping immediately, 6 & 7 passenger & 6 driver having to cut access holes to stop the nuts from spinning.

I need to find somewhere local to get a tool to remove the broken bolts from the cage nuts.
