last nite I installed my $100 serpentine belt.......$100 you ask, let me explain. The first $50 belt lost a rib cause some dummy didn't make sure the belt was sitting properly on all the pulleys....

at least the belt minus 1 rib still works so I can keep it in the trunk for an emergency in case sh*t happens again... :)

I always keep the old belt in the trunk anytime I replace one.

Which reminds me of the time I replaced the belt on my Wife's Toyota van. I had to go in through the passenger side wheel well. It's a really crazy route that the belt takes. So I drew myself a diagram before I took the old one off. It took me THREE TRIES just to get a correct diagram, but I was successful in swapping the belt. Then when I was folding up the old belt to put it back in the sleeve to stove in the rear storage compartment, there on the back of the sleeve was the diagram for the route. :blam:

Well, after a longer wait time than expected, I picked up my finished door panels earlier! They look killer, but now I get to paint the lowers, arm rests and door pulls black. Quick mockup when I got home......

Where was the build sheet located? I may want to try to find mine when I get the Malibu back from the shop.
