Got to pulling apart my interior and chasing some bad wiring and grounds. I was contemplating removing the dash but I think I’ll wait to do a complete removal until I get a tilt column and have a dash cap to install. I only want to remove and install once if I can. In the mean time I removed all of the bolted on stuff.

Right off the bat I can see some ugly electrical tape connections on the steering column harness. I will tend to those tomorrow. I also removed my AC controls and found that one of the vacuum lines had melted.

Anyone know a part number for the vacuum harness? Any way to repair it or must it be replaced? Any other vehicles to source it from used or must it be a G body? Thanks y’all! Here’s my unit for reference:

I’m not sure of a part number for that harness, but you could see if your local Napa has that hose. I was going to run all new hose until I found they can only get it in black.

An alternative would be some copper or brass tubing with rtv to seal it if you’re in a pinch.

Finally installed new gauges. They're very bright. Turns out this b*tch runs at like 170-180 constantly. Dope. Pic was taken after I had the car offf for a while, Car is still off.

what thermostat do you have and it looks like your battery is kinda low....the gauges look great... 👍

I finished my cowl induction air cleaner project. I will still have to play with spacers to get it closer to the hood.
Please excuse the crummy picture.

is that duel snorkel that you built? .... 😍
Yes it is, Steve. It started out as a Caddy air cleaner assembly. I shortened the existing snorkel, welded shut all the breather holes and just recently obtained a donor air cleaner from another member of the forum. Thanks again, Paul, As you see, your crusty old air cleaner assembly came to good use. I cut the snorkel off of the donor and grafted it onto the existing unit. All in all, I'm pleased at how well it turned out.
Here's what it looked like after attaching the other snorkel. I also cut the lid down to create an open element assembly.
I wanted to emulate Donovan's air cleaner on Oldscool.
Again, I apologize for the shitty picture.
