What Did You Do To Your G-Body Today? [2020]

not much, I went to pick up the B52 1977 calipers from Parts Avatar this morning, they were supposed to be ready for pickup 2 hours after ordering so I should have picked it up Thursday afternoon, Friday the latest. It's an hour drive each way but their schedule for delivery doesn't work, they must be on horseback. The calipers are a Cardone rebuild and one of the calipers has an inset for the bleeder screw but the problem is the thread now is 5/16" x 24 instead of 3/8" x 24 and the used a bleeder for a rear wheel cylinder. I am just a little more than a bit pissed off...😡

I had the back of the Regal raised so I decided to make a quick rear brace out of roll bar tubing by cutting a slot in each end so it would fit some plate I pre drilled and after mock ups I welded the tubing to both sides of the plate and each end and then painted it, this is an extremely rigid piece and the bumper still hides it from view.

Was going to finish some welding, but mother nature decided to kick iowa in the nuts today so I've been without power for going on 8 hours now. Tree bits are fn everywhere, tipped over semis, i saw a truck's back bumper hooked on a stump on fb, sh*ts wild man.

Was hunting spot welds & removed what was left of the drivers side wheel well of the trunk panel. Right now that under coating is a curse cleaning it off where I need to drill the spot welds.

We got slammed last night. No power out for me, but there are reports that the straight-line winds blew a freight train off the tracks. Which made me say WTF? Turns out they were double-stacked conexs, so yeah, pretty big side load/high center of gravity.
