Took it down to meet Prop Joe from ROP at the Udvar-Hazy Air and Space museum. Water pump pulley is wobbly and it makes a noise like a rod knock. It's been doing it for quite some time. I ordered a GMB off Amazon, but I don't think it will be in time for work Tuesday. May have to pick one up locally, tomorrow.

I like the magnet. put it on the frame rail for the rear and the rotor for the front
The one I had came with a super weak magnet. It wouldn't even stick to the rotor if the rubber line had any kind of tension on it. I was going to look into getting a better magnet mount for it, but fortunately I haven't had to use it lately.

I used low calory DOT 3, it's lighter brake fluid so there wasn't much strain on the magnet....

Actually yesterday, but doing a nut/bolt check on the Cutlass since I've got some miles on it now. Decided to pull a few random spark plugs to see how they look, annnnd they look great! I need to make time for more data logging, but work has been stupid busy.

Beyond briefly lifting the cover to take a peak into the cabin and see if I had left a floor model work light in there, nothing. No light, so I returned the cover back into position. LIke someone commented about "PigPen", on Charlie Brown's Christmas, "There's too much dust", mostly from all the cutting and grinding and fitting being done to the S-10 to get the inner rocker panel put in place and permanently burned in. Plan now is to take a picture of it in all it's glory before covering it up with the outer panel.

For a couple hours time that I do have before I hit the sack for another very early morning shift.

Repainted then almost immediately clear coated both rear quarter panels except for the area of rust I have to patch up on the bottom of the rear passenger side quarter panel and that will come toward the end of the month.

Then finally Trunk rim had its final coating of paint where I missed a few spots then heavily clear coated, Putting that Weather strip back on wasn't too difficult but a couple of the corners did give me a fit, clean the weather strip the best I could It's not that far gone so I will not replace it any time soon. Up next I am going to have to re-do the Primer and Paint of the Driver side door and the rest of the front part of the roof I had to respray due to scratches showing through. This Orbital sander is working wonders, but I am going through paper and allot of it.

Changed the output shaft seal and trans filter on the new transmission. Had a little more water in the oil than I would have liked, but I am going to give it a try anyways. Worst case scenario, the TH350 goes in and the 200-4r gets a visit from the rebuilder fairy.
when it looks like this you'll know it's time. 👎
