Yea, for AAA. They are the best. Sister-in-law gifted the wife and I with AAA about 10 yrs ago. Renewed every year since, and have only needed them twice, but well worth the peace of mind, and also the member discounts at participating businesses (hotels, NAPA, etc.).
Was much happier with them the first tow when it took like 15 minutes to get picked up instead of the second being almost 2.5 hours. But I seem to go in spurts of needing them so it is def worth having, when my dad was around he always had the premium membership which was nice because you got 100 mile tow covered. Now the regular covers just 3 miles......

They ask if you can find another ride but they allow you to ride in the cab, they said you have to wear your mask but the guy that pulled up was the same both times and never had a mask on

I finally got the Pig wrapped up with most of a new HVAC system and an oil change. I need to revisit the high pressure/liquid line, but that won't be in until Monday. Modifying parts multiple times, years apart doesn't always end well.

Cauterize, with regard to your Astro van steering shaft, did your shaft have a pin in it about an inch from the end? Did you get yours from Ostrich? I am concerned about what happens during a front collision. My major concern is whether the shaft will collapse and prevent the steering wheel and upper shaft from injuring the driver.

installed front clip with help from my friend

lined up panels, used some random shims and washers to space core support up bout an inch for some reason.

fender to door gaps even on both sides and varies very little from 1/4" top to bottom.

I don't understand your concern but all you need to do is separate the column from the steering box and check to see how much it collapses.

GP, as I understand it, the intermediate shaft which sits between the steering box and column is designed to collapse during a front end collision. As previously stated, the Astro Van shaft upgrade that I installed has a pin in it which prevents the upper piece from sliding INTO the lower piece.

my astro shaft collapses and I don't know what pin you are talking about that would prevent the shaft from collapsing. If the shaft does not collapse then I would not be able to get it on or off
