Did some remote tuning with NorthernRegal. Got the two step working; built 5 psi in gear, let off the brake and instantly had 11 psi. Roasted the tires. Can't wait to try that at the track.

This thing is really starting to fly. Test and tune on Dec 10th.

It’s been a long 3 weeks, but I’ve finished welding the passenger side frame plates in, and ground off the excess weld.

Ive since painted this with oil paint. Felt froggy and grabbed one of the 15s for the rear to see how it’d fit and well, it’s kinda tight on the outside:

Going to go to a couple of tire shops and see if I can find a couple of used 275-60-15s or 50-15s if I can’t find the former. I might have to find wheels with more(?) backspacing though. It does look good however.

You really need that notch just to tuck a 275? Can you go wider with the notch and the right offset wheel?

From what I’ve read on Monte’s you technically don’t, but the wheel well lip needs rolled and after that it’s still looks tight because there’s only the factory flare worth of clearance. There’s a lot of risk of smacking the quarter on launch with the wrong wheel and tire combo.
I just wanted to run on the safer side of things but these wheels might be pushed too far at 4.5 inches of backspacing.

Started packing sh*t up and getting the car together enough to move to our new place! its only about 5 miles away. Bigger yard, decent drive way. We may end up buying it in the spring, but renting for now. Yard is big enough for a big garage later if we buy ! Big storage shed already in the yard, so I can take all the parts out of the car !!!
