I primarily messed around with other things, but I did spray some PB Blaster on the bolts/nuts for the rear bumper. Early last summer, I picked up a rear bumper with a trailer hitch attached, and I would like to install it soon. It's not as good a setup as a frame mounted hitch, but I don't have plans for any heavy trailer loads at this time.

While I wait for the bearings for the 12 bolt rear I decided to clean up and start the 60 over motor that I got as a core not sure what I’m gonna do with it just yet but it’s much easier to store it as a short block ready to rock ‘n’ roll

Unfortunately, I managed to break the nut that holds the headlight switch in place when I took the bezel off. Hopefully I will be able to glue it back together as I don't have a spare.

Dropped the fuel tank, upgrading from the Racetronix sender with WALBRO 255LPH (gerotor) pump, to their TurbineTech, high pressure, high volume E85 compatible 255LPH pump. No plans to move to E85 just yet, but just in case I choose down the road, I'll be setup for it.

Walbro (GSS294M) pump has been in there for about 10 years since the swap from L98 TPI w/OEM ECU to Holley EFI Stealth Ram system. No real problems with it, just noticed the pumps been a little more noisy than usual. It used to be a hardly noticeable "hum" but now is more a noticeable "whine" so figured it's time before it dies and leaves me stranded...

What I did to my G body today.... well I got it back from the paint shop, was there for a couple of weeks to fix some minor issues with the new paint it received last summer. Damn, car is finally done! Perfect, paint, engine, trans, turbo, rear, interior, suspension, you name it, finally!!!
So I’ve got the drivers door panel off, putting the mirror, lock cylinder and handle back on the door from the paint fixing. Keep dropping the damn nuts for the mirror inside the door, got my telescopic magnet trying to get the nuts. Magnet’s grabbing everything but the nuts, I’m getting more pissed. I’m not a tool thrower, but in frustration I throw my arms down hard. I’m left with the handle part of the magnet in my hand... the other half flies off, punctures a can of silver spray paint on the shelf. It takes off like a fing rocket, paint everywhere, I mean everywhere. Entire drivers side of the car, wheel, tire, fender, door, hood, engine(had hood open), headlights and bezels, powder coated bumper and strip, air damn, windshield, trim, door panel. Unreal.
Grabbed the lacquer thinner(only thing I had) and went to town. Paint will be fine, it’s good clear coat, but lots of ruined plastic parts and tire stuff.
I think I invented a new language as my wife said I was yelling something incoherent...
Car is at the detailers for at least a week, they said they can fix most of it. Worst part is, I didn’t even get a picture (I know that’s what you guys want!). I was moving so fast didn’t stop to take one.
Ordered one of those metal cabinets for aerosols....

Damn. Sorry that happened to you. I can identify with you on that though. In 2005 I bought my first new vehicle, a 2005 GMC Sierra regular cab short bed. Navy blue. Drove it for maybe a month. Driving to work one morning on the highway, I come across at least a half dozen spray cans in mine and the adjacent lanes. They've obviously been run over as they are spinning a spewing. No time to do anything but run them over. Spray paint of several colors all over the truck. Fortunately the truck was dirty (had rained in the past day or two) so a lot of it came off pretty easy. I ended up taking the day off and worked on cleaning the truck all day. I never got it all off, especially underneath.
