Here’s a pic of the factory lines I put on my Bonneville.
I might have to pick your brains in a few weeks. I am gathering all the parts that I need to do my doors also. I already have the power window and door lock conversion kits, water seals, window felts, weatherstripping, reproduction interior door handles, upper hinges for both sides, and lower panels. Still need to get the upper panels, and decide if I should do the lower hinges while the doors are off. Also, I am wondering if I decided to get keyless remote for the locks, whether I need to do that at the same time or if they can be added later without messing up the door panels. Since the car is still a driver, I am hoping to get the doors finished before end of summer.Removed passenger door panels upper and lower. Coated inside the door with rust preventive paint (undercaoting). Removed weatherstripping and prepped for new weatherstripping. Currently have entire interior out and replacing old seam sealer with new seam sealer. Re-doing entire interior. Taking my time with it. Also painted various exterior trim pieces.
2am? Are you a morning news reporter? In the short amount of time that I have until it starts snowing I had to use a quick coat of primer, other wise yes a sealer would have been better. Then again with this virus scare, and the fact I have to get up at 2am in the morning to get ready for work it's the best I can do for now.
Yes sir, a friend I sent that same pic to texted me the same exact comment, minus the "melting plastic" part! LMAOI hope you removed the plastic film from it, ha-ha, you don't want to be inhaling melting plastic.
