Went to visit Donovan with a little something I just picked up.

Well my Supercars Unlimited mounts came.

Two different styles...........^%$^%$!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No idea why there was only one part number for the mount.

They do both bolt up to the block like they should, unlike the anchors brand
.

The mechanic that I set an appointment with is a very busy man, the car won't get picked up until Thursday he tells me. In the mean time I finally finished putting the new Passenger side headlight on of which I am going to post up my issue with the low beams in a different forum. And finally since it was warm enough I got's a video of the Malibu running on cold start. Volume on the video may be alittle loud, you may want to turn down the volume. Video taken by my phone.

Yesterday I spent most of the day installing a power window regulator and power door lock actuator on the passenger side door. Did not quite get finished. The regulator and actuator are both in and working. I have the wiring run, but I could not find the DPDT switches that I bought for the project. I still have to reinstall the door panel and kick panel also. I got a photo of the regulator mounting holes to show the difference between the two different regulators. I will post them later when I get finished with that side.

OK, so here is my pic of the door after pulling the manual crank window regulator.
The red circles show the old manual regulator attachment points.
The green circles show the points for attaching the electric regulator.
The blue shows where I installed a small electrical connection block on the inside of the door metal.
The orange is where I used an insulated clamp to keep the wiring from moving into the path of the glass, and to keep it from sliding in/out through the plastic plug in the hinge cavity.

My local electrical parts store has limited hours during Covid, so I had to order some new DPDT switches online. They should be arriving by Fed-ex in a couple of days.

Been vomiting and ******** water for the past 3 days about every 30 minutes. With how things are, work told me to stay home. So I did. Haven't eaten anything in 3 days besides a sleeve of saltines and a can or so of 7up.

I felt better today, so despite my shitty disposition (pun), I took advantage of the nice weather. Tapped the APT plug hole in the m4mc qjet I have for an allen plug so it can be externally adjusted and swapped in the weakest power piston spring from the kit quadrajetparts.com sells, I have about 10" at idle, the yellow one they list has a range of something like 2-7", so let's see how that works. It idles better, but I believe I need to retune the idle mixture. My stuff from Mike's came in, body mounts, bolts, door seals, trunk stops, window felts.

Got the carpet started finally after I got my Air Ride to link up with my phone, got the sides cut down and all but one of the front driver seat holes cut in it. I was also doing some painting on trim which turned into also finishing something for the bathroom at the same time since it was using the same color.

Spent the better part of the weekend getting the Wagon turned around from winter duty. It was a freaking mess. If the car lasts long enough for these non-winter tires to wear out, I'll look for a set of Buick lace wheels.View attachment 143031View attachment 143032

Is that before cleaning and after cleaning or today and 5 years ago?

If rust bubbles wash out I need to know what soap you used! Lol!
