Did a little more work, mechanic got the rest of the carpet done with the shifter in. While I beat my head against a wall trying to make my own shift boot from the same material i have throughout the car. I had 2 failed attempts and this is what I gave up on it as for now with just the centers mounted while I try to figure the correct amount to have out. Then just to feel like I got something accomplished I mounted the Sniper gauge

That After Market Gauge Cluster where did you purchase it? I want one now 😍.

Had to shake off the fact that two Mechanics I have contacted would neither work on the car or give me a quote. So I called Mosteller, and she finally just got picked up by a tow truck today 😢. It'll gets its parts replaced on their Thursday scheduling, and probably picked up on Friday 😊.



I also got in some parts the other day too. Lower Door Hinge, and Headlight Dimmer Switch. I will also have a Body Tool Kit coming in today as well. Can't wait until I can start getting the body back in shape and Painted. I will be doing These myself or course.

nice job on the interior panel. i want to do the same to my car soon as the weather warm up around here . are you doing the dash also, if so please posts some pictures. any detail you would like to share on prepping and the brand of paint used to redo your pieces will greatly appreciated. where did you purchase your carpet from. stock interior has a sale on their molded carpet for $138 bucks that i'm thinking about ordering this week. what ply carpet did you buy.

Appreciate it, I have left the dash go for now. I know it will annoy me one it is all together, but the one thing I didn't do was install a push button start and delete the cylinder on the column. I figure once I finally pick up the dash I bought from my cousin up in Detroit, I will tackle those maybe over this winter. For the most part I have just used scotch pads and then washed the panels with dawn to clean and dry before painting. I got the carpet from Auto Custom Carpet, I really enjoyed working with them as opposed to PUI who I got all the rest of the interior parts from. Especially now that I found my headliner like this, I can only assume during shipping it was rubbed against other items. I never noticed it because I didn't take it out of the plastic until I cut the dome light hole and was about to install it, I am sure they are going to say too bad its been too long but we will see. I guess I am going to install it as is and see if throwing a little heat on it will allow it to stretch back out.

That is just the Dakota Digital VHX series, I bought them because I thought it would be teal like it looks in pictures. But it is very deceptive and really just blue when you look at them, still matches a lot better than what I did have in there even though most really liked the old setup.
