Dug away the accumulated clutter from around the back of the Monte, reset the dollies, and proceeded to lift the rear up and shift the jack stands out from under the differential and out to the frame just ahead of the forward pivot points for the lower control arms. Next steps are to dismount the rear anti-sway bar, the shocks, the upper and lower control arms and the brake line at the tee and drop the assembly down onto the dollies so it can be extracted and introduced to a wire wheel on an air drive. Alos offers me the opportunity to pull the rear yoke and replace the outer pinion seal. (Or say screw it and use the complete rear end out of the 78 Cutlass. none of the diff's on the pile are posi-s.) The floor above it seems to have been given some respray love at some point in the past so only needs a touch up or two in some places. Also planning to drop the exhaust dumps post muffler and decide if I want to create new versions or just wire wheel the current ones and stuff them back in. Way easier to drop them with the rear end down and out of the way. Decisions, decisions.
