New Carburetor Came in from Amazon today. Going to find out some time this month if it works with the Engine I bought. Many more parts to acquire, which will be happening soon, but they are coming from Rock Auto.

That's not going to work well unless you have an ECM and the emissions stuff on the car.

If not, you'd be better off with a carburetor from late 60s through the late 70s, assuming your mechanic knows how to set one up and tune it.

Pretty sure coolant isn’t supposed to be in the valve train area 😅

aluminum radiator with electric fans installed to see if it helps my overheating... it doesn’t . Oh well motor swap time
Any info on your car? Mine was actually in the distributor timing with vacuum advance. Distributor was curved wrong and had wrong vacuum port

Finally finished replacing the rusted out floor pans of my 9C1. I've added rattletrap sound deadening. Now, I'm in search of a rubber floor instead of carpet. The original disintegrated upon removal. Anyone have a source for Police/Taxi rubber flooring for an 81 Malibu?
