I’m not too worried about matching texture as I’m going to get all my interior professionally upholstered in leather in the far future. I’m just doing it so they don’t become brittle and break from the sun. Thanks for the info though.
Your gonna spray the inside of them then? That way you don't screw your upholstery guy and your wallet later.

Forgot to post these. Had the car outside Monday when electrical was getting done. You can really see the frame and pinch welds being black now. Looks sooo much better than primer overspray...

2010 tahoe dash crack (they all do it), fiberglassed the crack, then smoothed out panel, used the chip guard to replicate texture and then matched the color and dyed dash.
Man that looks really well done, I am thinking of just going the super glue/ baking soda trick since I will be wrapping it anyways. Just want it to lay evenly, you can see they are really bad to start

Looking at that, knowing my knowledge and skills with this stuff and that's a several hour job, and that's if it's out of the car, probably a full day if left in car.

It's doable though.

Just remember, when we strengthen one area, another area will become the next week spot.

Another Tahoe/suburban/avalanche dash. More of a start to finish... But these are molded plastic versus our dashes being vinyl wrapped foam, so the repair process is a little different but not impossible.

Yeah that is what I am afraid of, had thought about buying a cap to try and keep it all down but then I don't think I would wrap it. Still going back and forth

Can you get another dash?

The cracks bother me none, but the area where it is lifting, some places excessively will be a big problem to repair. If I were you I would hunt up a different dash, repair it while out of the car, then swap them out when ready. Thats my plan for most of my interior is refinish my spare interior and then swap it in when I get to the point of gutting my current interior.
