The Zakim is a neat bridge, been a while since I’ve passed through Boston. Looks like it was a beautiful day for a drive! The dash gages look cool, could get used to that view.

Vinyl is supposed to be installed dry... I guarantee if you attempt to install vinyl dry over rattle can and need to lift up an area to reset it, it will lift the spray paint. I know this because my cheap vinyl pulled up actual paint when I was installing it.My wife gave it a rust-oleum turbo can paint job in the yard. Now we have a surface for the vinyl wrap to stick to.

I would recommend to put a mixture of alcohol and water in a spray bottle and install it wet. Use 99% alcohol. Ratio of 90/alcohol to water. If you take your time you can actually get some good results.
Start with a fender first... Save the roof, trunk, and hood for last. You will get better and more familiar with how the vinyl will behave as you go and will make those bigger panels easier.I don't doubt I'll have problems, other people seem to be able to get away with it, but I have the worst luck. Lol

The test panel came out okay on 24hr old paint. But I'm expecting an expensive disaster.
