Finally got the DD to the track tonight
last year it ran 15.87 @ 88mph
With the 3.73 gear change and nothing else it ran
15.37 @ 88mph after allowing the engine to cool

Installed new lower speedo cable tonight after changing the driven gear last night. Worked great for about a mile and a half.

I have an NOS single cable...can't decide if I really need one, since indicated rpm (by hundreds) is half the MPH according to the GPS.

PS, car still hates me

I drove the Regal to work Today but because they have our street under major construction I had to dust it off before I left, good thing that it only has the temporary $50 spray can paint job.

Just got a text from my engine guy that my 428 Olds stroker will be delivered in 3 weeks...can't wait.

Finished all the sanding on my 84' Hurst trunk spoiler. Supposed to rain tomorrow...good day to paint. Will post pics and painted pics tomorrow. Using a sample of clear that I got from work it's repair clear and is dry to the touch in 5 minutes. Sounds user friendly.

Made a parts run to the engine builder, and got a little frisky with a G60 Genesis (?). I guess he ain't expect the 85 Bonneville hanging with him? All good; balls out on the highway, but sure isn't winning any drag races. Unless it's bracket racing, then I'll take your money.
