So, since they're mailing you a working unit, and, I presume you need to completely uninstall the existing unit so you don't get charged...
The question is, given any thought to just removing it entirely and selling this replacement they sent you, going with something else? Especially given the headbanging antics they put you through to get to this point? I'd dread any further/future interactions with their 'support.'
Well they are just sending me the head unit, so really just like changing out a carb. I am already this far, so figure might as well stick it out since there is a bunch of wiring and other changes that would need to be made to go the other way.
Got back to doing something if it wasn't that much. Ran the new temp gauge wire in the dash harness. Now it'll be dark green/black stripe as the OE warning light wire section was moved into the dash cluster plug slot for the Check Engine light that will now be the temp light. I'll just need to run the new engine harness wire so it'll be the right lenth to get to the gauge sender in the intake. The head port will be for the warning light switch.
Started the swap over, got frustrated and figure I'll come back to it
Buddy came over last night and helped me get it all wired up, we ran out of time since he had to go get his gf. Got it all together for test purposes but the fuel pump wasn't priming and working, so need to figure out what is going on there...... Went to disconnect everything and it freaked me out that even with the battery disconnected it still had power, was worried that Christine had shown up. Went up front and disconnected everything from the sniper but apparently since the trickle charger was still connected it was back feeding still allowing some power in
Got the windshield and back glass put in 
And the QFT works perfectly, 45-50 degrees in here and it fired up at the touch of the button after two pumps.

XN pain in the a**. They put it right on the pkg number. Non ccc Rochester with matching hei and send it! 😆
