Yeah, but thats just my luck. If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all, I say that I'd have Foose or Kindig do work for me and it would be the one time they couldn't fix a major blunder or something
Remember, $50 still applies.....

Then be ever so glad you are not me and not fighting the good fight to tune and tweak the IAC unit on your FI to get it to fall within the desired parameters; in my case max=9, min is 4. Finally got the idle stop dialed in to the point where the IAC will consistently and quickly drop out/back to idle. May still add some learning curve to its program to get it to learn faster so it will drop off even quicker. Still giving serious consideration to scoring an rehabbed lap stop just to load the software program for this unit that will let me "see" the maps and observe them in action. Tuning by plugging in random numbers and doing test drives is frustrating at best and cursive at worst.

I picked up some company for the ttype yesterday... winters get lonely for the critters in the barn...

It's a floor shift 3 pedal machine. The red leather seats from the c4 vette are headed in there, and the new seat foams that came wit the elky will restuff those seats sporting different colors when they head into the Buick.

Drove 'er on to the trailer without incident, thank Jeebus cause the driveway was a bit slanted(side to side), and rain was comin' down thick.

Stay busy folksies!

R.

Put the quarter windows back in the Monte.

Got creative & made a warning light for an idea of adding a volt light to the warning light panel on my Monte's dash. Next is to figure out how to make the corresponding panel from a blank to a red lens. Also need a stash of warning light panels to ruin to try this.

Well, that didn't work as planned. The lone unused bulb socket hole is too close to the cluster side & the bulb socket is too long. Back to the drawing board. Atleast I already have the resistor wire already transplanted into the harness.

Find an older Monte, circa 78-80, that only had the idiot lights on the dash to the right of the steering column and start harvesting the sockets and lenses. The lense is an omni item in that it is all one piece even though there are different colors for the various lights.

Also, lower rad hose is definitely sucking shut on the highway. Just revving at idle it sucks nearly half closed.
