Cleaning the trunk out in preparation for paint and seam sealer and welding up the holes from when I did the body bolts.

Was able get my son’s cage certified on Saturday. I finally have my car completely together awaiting alignment, then testing. IMG_2549.jpeg

And getting some help from my kitten:

Half assedly welded in some 53 cent washers to plug the holes. Spray bombed the lower portion. Made a quick bracket to keep the sub box from sliding around as well.

It's a little surreal seeing pillow top seats in a car with a cage. Safe and comfy?
Unfortunately the driver seat has to be changed. It sits too high, but the rest will remain.

This interior was in his Cutlass that we took to DW 2019 and he got some comments from Freiberger and Brian Lohnes - it got renamed the fast couch.

Hopefully the car performs like the Cutlass - moderately fast and glued to the road. It won’t be getting a set of skinnies up front lol.

Finished futzing about on the passenger side wiring with the new engine harness. Just accepting it as is, since planning something nice to go over shoddy work isn’t my strong suit. Wish the 6M didn’t have all these extra wires though…

Next up is the new distributor wiring, rerouting the spark plug wires, and new vacuum and heater hoses for more room.
