the section pictured below has been cut-off at the yellow line, just behind the second body mount. the section circled in orange will be removed and sent to the metal recyclers unless someone needs it. do you have a need for it?

Definitely could use it. I appreciate it. Just let me know what you would want for it and we can arrange something for shipping. Thanks

That is true. I just got the whole floor pan but the driver side rail from front to back is rotted and that has to be fabricated or cut out of existing car

I spent my nice day fixing up a few small niggles with the Bonnevile. I have been trying to figure out the actual correct belt size for my serpentine setup, as the current one had my tensioner pulled past its tight limit. I ended up going from a 95" belt to a 96" belt. I also found a small antifreeze leak in one of my heater lines, and got a new line to replace it.

On the upside, I talked to the guy that bought my El Camino and he may be ready to sell a pretty nice two tone red '76 El Camino that he has been driving. I need another old car like I need another hole in my *ss, but the price is decent and these are hard as hell to find not rusted to death.

Spend a good part of Saturday with a buddy tinkering and thinking it was going to get right, started running a little rich but figured it was because it was a new tune as it was learning. Got better so we took it for some laps to help with the learning, after about 3 or 4 laps going up the hill it backfired a bit and then shut off. Was able to get it to start again and head to my back alley towards the garage. It stalled again but was able to start it again with some taps of the throttle, get it back in the garage and take a video to send to Holley still showing RFI affecting the head units. Just as a finish the video it stalls out and the Hyperspark goes orange, but the fuel pump stays running until I cut the key off. Go to try her back up and get the equivalent of the blue screen of death I believe

1. Ordered 4 new Cooper Cobra tires 255/60 & 235/60
2. Bought OEM MCSS aluminum wheels from FB (bringing them into work to be blasted). Not sure how I'm going to paint them.

I need to figure out how to install the lower chrome trim on the door of my Regal. Looking at the other side, it looks like I need to drill holes in the door.

This weekend I pulled the headliner and rest of the interior trim. Got the fuel tank completely siphoned out.

Added fresh fuel and inline fuel filter. After that I finally fired up the car for the first time since the new plugs and refreshed carb. Seemed to run much better but it's probably a month away from a real road test.

This week I'll tackle the sloppy tilt steering column and repair the damaged headliner board and recover it.

I see your two problems now....

1) your driver side a/c vent is blocked; and

2) your car isn't wearing its foil hat.

Well........I guess there's a third too, it's carb is missing 😉 (but I know you're thinking long term about that upgrade)

Seriously though, it seems strange to me that all this time you can get it to work on a short run, but then it dies - going all the way back to last year's pizza run, and before that even.

Dibs on 98 C/K series?
Looks like the only thing there for those is a short supplement on 'bi-fuel system service'... because it's about the alternative fuel I'd kind of like to keep that one.

Not sure what kind of bleed-over on the mechanical side any of the other lines would have, S/T, Gvan, M/L, etc...

There WAS a novelty item related to all carlines, one of the Chevy Pro-Service News Series, about 'manual transmission diagnosis'
