I picked up my new hood from the painter, I think he did a very nice job on it.

So what kind of goodies are going to get added to take advantage of the extra space?
I get to finally run an air cleaner instead of just an air pan.

Finally got around to changing the rear shocks on my 1979 Hurst/Olds. The old pair had been replaced back in 2003. They only had 20,000 miles on them but were definitely showing their age. Plus, I changed the choke tubes and assembly.

Could be better, could’ve been worse.
With 2 coats of clear on the body from what I remember, I wasn’t willing to get aggressive. Moving on to the passenger door shortly, then the quarter extensions. After that it’s prep for the bumper cover to be painted tomorrow.
