it says to discard and replace after removal, supposedly a one time use only (plastic) cover that comes on the GM crate, and original vortecs, etc..I think they have a factory (RTV) seal bead embedded in them, and they don't want you to try and re-apply that afaik...what does it say on the timing cover?
How did you convert your sandwich maker into a mechanic? I need to get pointer in case I ever get one and want to convert itBlower intake gasket failed, luckily I have a mechanic to fix itView attachment 246881View attachment 246882
I should title this bondo for sound deadner "lol"It's no where near sad if you can take something that others might ignore or dismiss and turn it into something once again useable and serviceable. Builders don't call body shops "Purgatory" for nothing. Cars sent in for "pro" body work can languish for months or even years!
For myself I say, "keep after it, hoss." If nothing else what you learn from this exercise will be of value when you tackle your next set of doors......................................(And you will.............)
