Finally got time to put the regal interior back together. Was a nice day outside so I had my buddy supervise. He passed out on the job. I was checking on him every few minutes and there was a nice warm breeze today. He's 4 months tomorrow.
A wagon with an LS and a stick. That should be fun.Just some pics from my ls swap, just working on it when I can. Got the clutch pedal in over the weekend, still a lot of work to go

After dealing with fouled plugs and random instances of blue smoke, I threw in the towel and decided to do valve seals and re-ring the motor.

I was going to shoot for pulling the engine without pulling the hood, but stopped in my tracks when I pulled the intake:

…and the runners are wet with oil, along with the lower gasket surface having a few small puddles…
I’m leaning towards just doing intake gaskets, as the o ring on the plastic felpro ones isn’t compressed all the way, and some parts aren’t flattened at all. Going to apply some silicone to seal it after cleaning and see if that solves my problem.
Intake and cylinder head plenum angles are slightly different, but I can’t get the correct conventional gaskets for a week, and no machine shops are open so I can get this done in a timely manner.
Really tempted to track down a set of aluminum heads at this point.
that's how it all starts.. 👍Drove it to Menards with the little guy. Throaty exhaust lulled him to sleep lol.
