HA! no my 4 yr old has been stuck on Kiss so probably listening to black diamond. But my car was white originally.😉

Raising 'em well!

Getting my Jeep prepped for winter. A few little projects are quickly spiraling out of control.

So far I have:

Replace front control arm bushings
Replaced passenger rear window motor
Replaced drivers window switch assembly (which shorted out and burned up rear window motor)
Replace sunroof cassette assembly
Recover headliner
Replace drivers seat belt adjuster (broken during headliner removal)

Things to do before I can drive it again:

Steering stabilizer replacement
Seal kit for power steering box

Placed a huge order for my T-Bird resurrection:

all new hoses: heater and radiator
serpentine belt and tensioner
distributor cap, rotor, plug wires and spark plugs
rear brake cylinders
brake flex hoses front and rear
front caliper rebuild kits
rear axle seals
differential cover gasket
transmission filter kit
air filter
a pair of mufflers and a pair of stock tailpipes

Those are the cheap items. Over the winter, I'll need to invest in a AC condenser and hose kit, four new tires, all eight fuel injectors, a new battery and I plan to eliminate the dual converters and have true dual pipes bent up from the stock manifolds to the mufflers I just bought.

It will be like a brand new car with only about $1,000-$1,500 spent to get it there.

While listening to this?

The Mustang and that tune reminds me of my days in Brandon Florida, the boss at the bottle club bought his gf an identical Mustang expect in white and that tune was played at the bar I bounced at from 8 to 2:30 and then I ran to the bottle club to bartend till 8 am , that tune was played all the time at the bottle club too....really good times down there....

I bought some winter tires for my Jeep, figure I might as well get one more winter out of her instead of buying someone else s problems. Good part was I picked up the tires and dropped them off at the Jeep as my son's place with my GP......🙂

I am going to file that under "things I never would have guessed about somebody".

Drove it to work on my G-body, currently in another location...
