Developed a herky jerky sensation in the Cop Vic. But no codes were thrown. It was definitely some kind of miss. Figuring the plugs have never been changed, I ordered up a set, and I also picked up one coil on plug pack in case I needed one of those. Before the plugs arrived, the next day the code light came on. The scanner read misfire on cylinder 8. The plugs arrived the next day and I swapped them out. I also swapped out the coil on #8 while I was at it.

When working on the driver's side bank, I found some oil down in the plug holes. So it's looking like my next task will be to yank that side's valve cover and replace the gasket. I'm sure glad I'm able to wheel this thing around to get this thing all dialed in before turning it over to Jr. full-time. Test drove it today and it's running the best ever.

Changed out the primary sump pump - because what better time to fail then during the first thaw of the season, right? I was hunched over in the crawl space, leaning up against fiberglass insulation and elbows deep in iron ochre for about 7 hours.

Built a TV stand out of scraps. Paint should be dry in a few hours and then I can set the natural pine boards into it... and plop the TV on top.
