Since I have been down waiting for parts for the wagon and too cheap to buy the parts for the 2+2, time to get back to building models. The ~$1200 should help stimulate the 2+2 a bit 🙂

I was talking to a friend about tool boxes, and remembered that I have my grandfather's Snap On box (engraved, too).

Changed upper and lower ball joints in the Jeep. $150 to get the AutoZone Rent-A-Tool ball joint press kit. Definitely returned that one when I was done.

Put new brakes on the Subaru. I put new Wearever front rotors on it back in December and they already warped really bad. On Friday I took them to work to cut them on the brake lathe, and they were so bad I couldn't even cut them. So today I took them back to Advance and told the guy at the counter they were warped. He said "warranty doesn't cover warpage." I said "they are 4 months old and they are so crooked I can't even cut them on a lathe." So he reluctantly gave me a new pair. The rear rotors are still original and I was able to cut them just fine. I bought new front and rear Akebono pads last week from RockAuto. So it's got new pads, front rotors and resurfaced rear rotors, should be good for a while.

Got the ice away from the door so I can get the mustang out. I need to get the TQ boxes reinforced and and some work to keep it from twisting on the hit. I put a SBC in it to run brackets and it needs some work.
