Finished the procharger on the Challenger. After I got the tune downloaded, ran it, checked for leaks, topped everything off. Went inside, told the wife WHOO HOOO it runs! She says, can I hear it? I say sure! (Now other than a bit of whine at idle, there isn't anything too hear, asupercharger's got helical gears and the exhaust has not been changed yet.) I fire it up and blip the throttle, she has the look of utter disappointment mixed with does he know he just spent $6500, and it sounds exactly the same written on her face. I shut it off and start laughing. I told her to relax and come back in an hour or too, it'll all be better when I install the big *ss box of exhaust she almost tripped over on the way to the garage.
What year and model Challenger? I would like one for my Challenger GT, the Sprintex has ran low 12's in the SXT.

Got the suburban off the jackstands for the tree guy, made a 2x4 holder for the trans that sits in the frame, and figured out why it was pissing fluid. the modulator line is clipped to the dipstick tube in a retarded way so it's springy, so it pushed the tube out of the hole.

I finally got my Honda Shadow into the shop to have the carbs rebuilt, and it runs like a top now.

Oh yeah, I was also given a 2001 Volkswagen Turbo Beetle as a project.

It was a good week.

Took my son to pick up his first vehicle and drive it home. 2007 with 120k. Everything works, $3k. I thought it was a good deal.

Going to the bank this afternoon to sign for our construction loan! Just waiting on the building permit now. Should I start a build thread for our house?

Those Nissan's are typically good. Watch the radiator as they have been known to fail the trans cooler and mix coolant with atf.

Sharp ride, I'd be interested to see the house plans and progress. Really hoping to wrap mine up soon but with my tenant I never know
