I could swear I remember reading about "another 454 in the shed" (that apparently doesn't exist) in the Most Pathetic Thread Ever Created. Could be old-timer's disease setting in.........
i guess i meant garage. my dad has his 454 on the floor in there that hes probably gonna do something with.

Ordered some very well discounted 18x5 and 17x11 (widebody fitment) Racestars from Summit last night for the Hellcat (included free shipping to Canada). Going to mount up the virtually untouched 325/45R17 M&H Racemasters that have been sitting here since DW 2016. Feels weird when a 28" tall tire is "short".

Because the LAST thing I want to hear is the sh*t talking about how slow it is for 717hp... blah blah blah. At least by taking traction out of the equation anyway. 😉
You have a Hellcat? Where have I been? Of course my Wife mentioned that will be the next Challenger she will buy. She mentioned that but didn't think she was serious. Of course that could be just because she was talking to one of the Doctors at work, since she is a Nurse.

I was given notice today that the Hellcat has achieved D status. Requested the VIN and assigned build date. We are also looking into the possibility of going to see it be built at the factory through our contacts at FCA.

Hopefully it is going to be built few days after the plant comes back from Summer shutdown starting later this week. I don't want a Friday or Monday car - LMFAO.

Yeah, its a 2018 - but I don't mind looking at it.
That is gorgeous colour. Our 2010 was a very similar Stone White. I am not a huge single scoop fan but looks way better on the wide body. I LOVE the Redeye hood reminds of the Oldsmobile W25 ram air hood. My wife says she is very serious. Our GT moves fast enough, can't even imagine that much power. And yes, 28" is a short tire for the Challenger. Our 2010 had 28.6" tall tires and our GT 29.1" tall tires. Our 17 GT has had very few issues, now just over 30,000 KM. Love it, got 34.5 mpg imperial last trip doing 118 km/hr. I also like they are made right here in Brampton, Ontario.

Well after one of the driest springs in history, it now is constantly raining. Which is weird. In the prairie's we get cycles of rain, the last 10 years then usually many years of dry. Well until a month ago that was coming true. Funny how rust stays at bay when it is dry. Looked at 70S last night to paint separation and rust above the wheel well on the passenger side. A sand down and repaint was the plan this winter. Looks like I will be ordering the Plastikote or Loctite rust converter, whichever is cheaper from Amazon. I plan on using the good 3M primer and going with the orginal Sherwood Green.

Good to hear! From what I have gathered these cars are pretty well sorted out regardless of trim/power. I was born and raised in Brampton - so there is a huge sentimental connection for me on that level. I remember driving past the plant in the early 2000s and seeing the SRT8s parked for miles. I actually tried buying a 300C SRT8 in 2006.

PS. Ours is coming with the dual snorkel intake. The thing about the widebody, for me, is it visually balances out a very long car... with scoops and flares it is appropriately garish and visually obnoxious in the right ways.

That almost sounds classy, and a little exotic.

I understand buying one Mike, I was one signature away a year and a half ago.

The question is, how many monsters do you need? You already have quite the stable going on.

Good to hear about the hood. I love the ZF 8spd, thought I would hate it, shifts are super fast.
