Shouldn't it be in Italian though? I mean, the car does have some Fiat in it's bloodline. Or even German, because aren't those things along with the Charger and 300 still based on an old Daimler platform from the Daimler Chrysler years?

All kidding aside, I've always thought they were good looking cars. What's not to like about that much horsepower under the hood? My hangups on them are how heavy they are and worse, how hard they look to be to work on with the strut towers jammed up against the sides of the engine. No different than a 4th gen Camaro in that respect though. I've just gotten really stodgy towards anything new lately. Too much nanny gear. It's your money. No need to explain why you bought it. I hope you get a ton of enjoyment out of it.

bought a peace of crap go kart for cheap. redid the steering,the guy welded everything. replacing everything. blasted the frame and painted it today performance red dupli -color View attachment 118466. clear coating it this weekend. hope to get the rear end parts this weekend.putting a predator 212 on it. dont mind the cat kennel lol

454 is done with machine work. If I remember right, clean, crackcheck, surface, bore, cam bearings. Guy said the pitting cleaned up with .030. As for the fate of the 454, I really don't know. I haven't had any solid bites on the suburban yet (I wonder why...), and it's too nice of a truck to scrap for $200. As much as I dont want to, and as much as the land dork dont want me too... If it doesnt sell by about mid august im gonna have to put the 454, or something back in the engine hole. That should make it a little more enticing.
