Moar pics. Box is crusty but not rotten. Figure there will be some bbq, beers and a welding party the saturday after next to get it all ship - shape. Found out the boom is 65' plus the height of the truck so the lift is closer to to 73' - 75'.
Thus far replaced both batteries. Still reading 12v on the dash gauge but tests out at 13.85v at both the alternator and the battery terminals. The fuel gauge is wired but doesn't read at all. And I cut one of the ladies loose with the 6" buffing wheel and the "once a year" car polish to see what kind of shine she can get out of the old gel coat 🙂 It turned out better than expected.

Pretty sure the box will get a coat of watered down school bus yellow and semi gloss black so it doesnt look like an old heap rolling down the road.

The vacant wooded property behind my property sold a couple of years ago, and the owner began to develop it last summer. It has been a slow process, they have finally gotten the majority of the utilities in. The dirt contractors keep bringing in more fill, and have been building the level up towards myself and my neighbors. I went out tonight to take apart a portion of the chainlink fencing to prevent it getting ripped out accidentally. The owner of the dirt contractor company has a lousy reputation, so I want to head off at the pass as many future problems as possible. About four weeks ago he knocked over a portion of the fence and my goat got out of the yard, then he had the nerve to cuss my wife out about our goat getting out. I have not mentioned this to anyone here before, but my wife is partially disabled, and was literally unable to retrieve the goat on her own. Thankfully, the contractors employees are better human beings than their boss, and they caught the goat and brought him home. I was 30+ miles away on my own jobsite, so I knew nothing of this until later. In the next couple of days after the goat got out, I put a new temporary fence across the yard about 8ft inside the property line. The portion that I removed tonight are both the north and south fence lines from the new temporary to the rear of my yard. Now the contractor can do whatever he needs to do without disturbing my livestock.

Lots of Loctite.

You have great taste in vehicles. I'd kill to have another S10 Blazer. My first vehicle was an 84 S10 Blazer. I was gathering all the parts to swap in an SBC when I got rear ended and it got totaled in early 2000.
Appreciate it, sorry to hear. Been looking for quite a while since I would prefer to have a real Typhoon but since I never seem to sell a car guess it doesn't really matter. Now I am thinking of taking off the GMC badge and putting a chevy back on it since I am thinking 5.3 twin turbo to match what was in there

A single will make more power than twins. Is it still AWD?
