You gotta throw some tube sand in the bed and get some weight over those rear wheels.

A drop in the bucket IMO. I used to keep my snowmobile in the back when I had my 2wd Chebby. Helped a lot more than 200# of sand, but did sag the truck a little more and made it heavier to extract when I still got stuck. I eventually started carrying a shovel too.

But, you had a sled. Drop it out, ride home, and get the truck later.

Better yet, back it in. If you get stuck, let it rip out the back.

I'd been getting reports from strangers about a brake light being out on the Rusterado, and decided to investigate today. It worked until turning on the parking lights, so i knew it was a broken or missing ground. 20201212_144255.jpgTurned out to be some mouse chews on a couple wires at the harness "junction block". I thought i could slap some new Metri-Pak ends on to fix it, but, alas, I didn't have the right ones. So, I soldered them back together with some heat shrink applied. All good in da 'hood, now.

Was in the low 60s today so I worked on the roadbed for my outdoor trains then ran them probably for the last for this year as the weather will soon be going down hill. A early Noreaster is supposed to hit us next week.

Took a mental health break and played with my toy...s...

You can tell a lot about someone by the books they've read (the Witcher is not mine).
