What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2020]

FE heads are really good stock. They need harden valve seats added though. Your best bang for buck will be better pistons. More compression. If you want to build a 360? I can make you a deal on reconditioned crank and rods. I have one block that is worth rebuilding and a complete 360 that has a scored cylinder. Good luck finding a 428!
What about FE CJ heads? See those on eBay and FB all the time.

I keep living rent free in my kids' heads by merging my interests in with theirs.

A drop in the bucket IMO. I used to keep my snowmobile in the back when I had my 2wd Chebby. Helped a lot more than 200# of sand, but did sag the truck a little more and made it heavier to extract when I still got stuck. I eventually started carrying a shovel too.
Keep a passenger in the truck, unload the snowmobile, and use it to help you get unstuck.

Was in the low 60s today so I worked on the roadbed for my outdoor trains then ran them probably for the last for this year as the weather will soon be going down hill. A early Noreaster is supposed to hit us next week.
That's a new take on the gbody theme, G gauge railroad. A former (retired) co-worker of mine has a garden railway. Cool beans!!!

Had high hopes of getting the trans back in the 2+2 today but got convinced to do something about the gaps on the side of the microwave after replacing the 36" range hood with 30" microwave/hood combo. Decided to build a set of sliding spice racks.

And installed. The wife loves her spices....
Still need to cut the old doors to size and install on the top.

Finally got some work started on the Blazer but did not get very far since I need to debate on if I want to flush mount them like I had planned or if I should mount them to the core support like they are here since I like the way that looks
