What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2020]

Finished the front of the imp motor today. I’m glad I used the “tool” to install the balancer hub. It’s pretty much a guarantee you’ll strip the threads out of the crank if you try to run it down with the bolt like a gen1 sbc. My butthole was a little puckered bringing it in even with all the threads engaged in the crank.

Crazy day today. My dad's neighbor in Chincoteague was giving stuff away. I recruited my neighbor Jimmy to help pull some Roadkill Garden Tractor Edition sh*t. Originally, I was getting a '96 Cub Cadet Diesel 1782 for my dad. I packed a bunch of tools, grabbed Jimmy, and headed out. I replaced a bad fuse holder redneck style with a couple female spades and a fuse, threw the charger on, to see what gives. Not much happened. Oh, it was quite the adventure culminating in dragging the Cadet out with moving dollies under the front wheels. Then, disconnecting the trailer and pulling the Cadet up onto it with the truck! Woohoo!
Here's the wet grass, off camber hill we had to get all this sh*t up

Sketchy stuff!

Neighbor Jimmy scored a running and driving 60" deck Dixie Chopper zero turn, too. I think he made out the best in the deal just for helping and using his trailer and pancake compressor!

Those things are badass!
This thing is rough as hell. I'll get it running, but pops needs to be buying some tires; the fronts rolled off.
In other news, the wife and kid went to pick up the new horse dog, Sophi Sue the brindle American Mastiff, successor to Raven that died of cancer a few months ago. 8 weeks old and 18lbs, which is 2lbs heavier than Lucky the Westie Shop Dog.

I sold my 1969 Lund 18' aluminum skiff today. It was a former rental skiff and heavy duty commercial grade. Not only my kids but my grandkids learned to fish and boat in that thing. It really took a beating from us but it is one tough ol' b*st*rd. Caught a LOT of fish in the 31 years I owned it. The Johnson 35 hp fired right up. Two brothers, veterans, regular guys, handy, and good fishermen bought it. I wish them well.
