What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2021]

Bought some stuff for the 77.... (or maybe the 79?) truck.

It's wrapped in furniture blankets packed up still, but, just got home and not dealing with unloading tonight.

Also, it's still not winter down here. Cite to sunburn that isn't near the hairline.

Also, in case you wondered, nitrile dipped cotton gloves? Don't block the sun while you wear them. Cite to back of hand vs sides of fingers.

Ah well... I hadn't gotten a peeling burn in a couple years and although they say avoid em, getting on a year isn't supposed to be the end of the world.

This also means that, based on how my body works, I will be quite dark for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

So next time you northerners lament winters arrival just remember you aren't dealing with these issues

Up North we get freezer burn in the winter. Plus a sunny day with snowpack can F up your eyes from the intense reflection everywhere.

Got my old project JD214 fully functional for snow duty this winter. Only need to buy the carriage bolts to install the wheel weights and maybe the tire chains if need be down the road. Have some filler work to do on the front of the hood and will respray the whole thing next year. I have the decals for the hood new on the shelf and a used grill on the way.

Got the mower deck off the Cub Cadet, scraped and pressure washed the underside, and put the deck away for storage. The deck itself weighs over 250 lbs. Then I got the front hitch and the plow put on.

I have to fix the spool valves for the hydraulic circuits, they are leaking even though I put new o rings in them last year. Not sure what is making them leak. Then I'll still need to change the oil and filters and get the snow tires on it.
