What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2021]

Those spool valves, maybe nicked an o-ring during the install, or the bore needs honing to polish it a little, or the rings themselves have an issue with the hydraulic fluid; some hy-oils can cause the rubber to "melt" or dissolve. Possible to sub in neoprene quad or square bodied o-rings??

went to a junkyard and got a new column, steering wheel, passenger tail light n trim, drivers fender, and a wheel with a bias tire i think is from 1977. its a sentry traction or something. i think it has a tube in it, its very heavy. its also on a 16.5" rim, so it will be going on down the road once i can find a normal 16" to use as a spare.

swapped the baldy passenger front tire with the drivers rear. ****ing stud fell into the god damn drum and had to fix that mess.

I didn't wake up this morning needing a new idea for Natasha's Camaro... but, here we are.

Not today, but I haven't been on here in a while. And it actually to two days. My wife has a new Bronco on order (2 door, hard top, 7speed manual only options are the toe package and rear locker)

She sold her Focus to her sister for her kids to drive and bought a rust free 2wd 1999 Jeep Cherokee as a Beater car until the Bronco arrives...

Of course after a week of trying to convince myself it was a bad idea I spent the $500 on the rusty 4x4 parts jeep and did the swap.

Luckily everything came apart, and went back together, I was able to get it converted over in two 12hr days. With only basic hand tools and a Ryobi 18v 1/2" impact.

Put it back together. Hopefully the spool valves don't leak too bad. I pressure washed the whole thing, got the "snow" tires mounted on the winter wheels and weights moved over, and put a Kohler tune up kit in it. Still need to fix the lights.

This will be the first season I've run it with both the Kenda tires and weights. Last year I had a little kinds of traction issues. I tried chains. They were good at tearing up the driveway, not much else. ATV tires helped a little. Hopefully the wheel weights help. If not, I'm putting suitcase weights on it.
