Got the new garage heater installed in the ceiling and ran power gas and tstat to it. Still need to vent but getting close to replacing ol' semireliable radiant heater.

A Delta 15 amp running a 12 inch wheel, uh-huh. Followed the link and have a Menards in the region but no price suggested for this beast. If it doesn't violate any trade secrets, how much $$$ did you shell out for the beast?

Revisiting the joys of Hot Wheels now that the Christmas tree is put away...

That silver blur is a Hellcat.

Reinforcing that crashing them is not only okay... it is encouraged!

As long as the crashing doesn't involve a hammer from dads tool box. Seems my younger brother whom inherited my 'cars' wanted more realism for the 'crashed cars 🙄

That's awful. But, then again I did melt GI Joes with sparklers so who am I to judge?

I remember how "real" these ones seemed when I was young:

It has seen better days... but is complete and functional.

Later versions of those 'crash-ups' as they were branded here in the states went to plastic hoods but kept the metal spinning front. I remember seeing many where the hoods wore out and wouldnt hold the uncrashed shape anymore.

I have an old dukes of Hazzard general Lee hot wheels that honestly lost its paint down to primer over 98% of its body. No special efforts required

I find it interesting that this one was made in Hong Kong, not Malaysia.

The Christmas tree comes down on 12/26. This is the way.

It's been down for weeks, I was illustrating a point about how invasive it is. Sadly, I left the Hot Wheels stuff in a pile until tonight.

I'd never put it up if I had my way. The tree that is.
