Tell us what you really think! 🤣 I'm not crazy about them either but it's his car. The most important thing is that the car is being made into a driver. Another one saved, at least for awhile longer.

Fair enough, I understand the principal of the customer being always????? right. If they are what the customer wants, then oversized bling is what they get. As a total side comment, I am reasonably certain that if this Merc was to appear at an event shod in those sneakers the litany of comments would tend to be less kind than mine were. IMHO.
If we are talking personally..... I don't mind 22's I just don't love those wheels and always tend to avoid chrome. But to be honest the chrome goes with the rest of the car, would be really nice to see it get a different set since they are too much like the iroc wheels
After finishing what I started the other day on the squares compressor I jumped to an old project of mine. It's a late 70s ford tractor I bought shortly after I bought my house. It's a low hour unit that I picked up at an equipment auction. From the start this machine was plagued with problems. About 10 hours into owning it the crankshaft snapped in half! I searched the country for parts and it took 2 or 3 years to find all the parts to build the engine. Then I went threw 3 injection pumps and 4 injectors before finding a place to build me a pump from my junk and I just never put it all back together. Tonight I took stock in what I have and I think I can make it happen in my spare time. So I started by putting air in the tires after I cut back the vines that have overtaken it.
The machine is a Ford 1300 compact tractor with a rear blade and a 770 ford loader attachment. I figure sense I haven't done any blasting and spent a ton of money on the 78 cutlass Lexi's Camaro and my daily driver I'm going to dig out old projects like this get them running and sell them off. Things like this tractor I've got way to much money in to ever get it back but if I can redeem something it's better than nothing. Plus if I start selling stuff off it's way less to move when the time comes. If the time comes ??

Custom order of Colorado Customs Segundo's is 12 months out, length of rear axle will not allow reverse wheels to fit under car, we have these plus they have new tires, and the owner doesn't mind them. I'm not sold on them but this will get it running and driving for now.
At least it’s not a 4x4 one. The price for those parts are plenty high before, now you probably need a winning lottery ticket.
Luckily I don't think I need to buy anything for it. It's just a matter of putting it back together as far as I know. Hopefully it goes smoothly and I can get it running then do some cosmetic repairs before it gets to cold out.
A Custom order of Colorado Customs Segundos comes with a twelve month lead time to delivery. I was actually thinking more along the line of Wheel Smith or Coker Tire as sources for those rims.
As for my breathing, I do and I don't. Too much damage from repeated bouts of Winter aggravated Bronchitis; heavy breathing tends to make me cough, good days and bad. Having to wear masks for Covid for two years didn't help and neither does the fumes and dust from welding and dressing down the welds. Periodically I yak up a whole lot of crud and crap and things settle down for a while.
Gave up running years ago. Only consequence to running that I could ever identify was that you died tired.

Yah, that white stuff already got sprinkled on top of Mount Washington. So it’s coming way to soon.
If you ever want a old oddball tractor to rebuild my brother has one that they used on golf courses. Has a flathead Dodge motor and a big chrome W on the front.
