What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2022]

Oh it is definitely something engineered to take a condition that was minor and seem to have lasting permanent effects, I know a few people like that. Gets everyone different.

That is the biggest thing I've seen with any of this, people are told to stay home and suffer it out, no one has a set regiment on how to handle it. GNC had a few things that in early 2020 were known to help fast, they all have been pulled from the shelves because of a "higher authority".

What I stated above and from what Clutch said is the basiscs to combat a viral infection in the body. The vitamins to fight it on a cellular level, zinc helps greatly, and don't feed it sugar. Sugar fuels a virus, gatorade is loaded with sugar. Pedialyte is low sugar, tastes like chalk why the OJ and tonic water mixed with it helps ease it over.

That MS362 would be my choice. They are the newer style, however you could literally rebuild the top end on the back of a truck with just using an 8mm wrench and the torx end chainsaw combo tool. Plenty of power, newer style anti-vibration system.

I would go for the manual adjustable carb version instead of the electronic controlled one but that's just me.

There's actually one for sale in my local area for $400, I've got 6 friends of mine looking at it because they know what it is and seen what mine can do.

Once you use a pro saw with good power, yea you won't mess with the normal stuff.

Seems like the 20" bar was a decent guess on my part. The 362 looks pretty solid, gonna have to bookmark that.

The MS391 is the largest non-pro saw Stihl makes, it's heavy for the lack of power it has. I have a buddy with one, it's a night and day difference. He doesn't use it much why he tolerates it, but if it was something of more use, he'd get into a light one.

For reference, the MS362 that I said was for sale in the local area at the price it was, lasted about 3 days on the market. Sold now. They are about $800+ at the dealer.

Started to fab up a new battery tray for my 1964 Cub Cadet 122. So far I have made a 1/2" plywood template to hold battery for now. I am about to put that old angle iron bed frame to good use. I will be cutting it shortly in preparation for welding into a battery tray.

Today I tried my hand at lean cruise on my 0411 controlled 1998 K1500 and I got it working, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around the way it comes and goes. If anyone else who's dabbled can chime in, please do. I started with fueling and spark straight out of a Holden Monaro, but it was a bit aggressive for the truck. It really didn't like the 18.XX:1 hit so I dulled it down to max out around 16.5:1 and when it gets into it, it hangs right around there.

I'm curious to see you guys' fueling and timing tables. I want to experiment with leaning it one more cell to the right, or maybe halving it one over so it doesn't drop right back to stoich after .56. After driving, debating on leaning the super low load cells out to the 17 range as they're basically coasting downhill with barely more than zero throttle input.

Also thinking I need to dump a little more timing in here as the leanest I'm commanding is an EQR of .89.

Also also, seems odd that the timing dips in the 1600-2000 range. 2000+ is generally where I am in OD on the highway. All this as I head to MI Saturday after next in this pig and I'd like to get every last mpg possible from the thing. Watch it do nothing because brick on 33s.
