I received the parts to fix my daily. Only waited 3 weeks. Going to need to start on it tomorrow night because Sunday is my anniversary.

Good by EGR cooler

When the previous owner tuned and deleted my truck apparently they cheaped out and left the EGR cooler in it. They didn't even do a coolant bypass. Needless to say the cooler went bad as they all do. So I asked around locally and everyone told me. Get a delete kit it will be fine they said it's easy they said. They all lied! That thing is miserable to work on! It took me an hour just to get the elbow off the turbo. So I stayed at work until around 8:30 and went home hangry. Then I pulled a wild card and called for help. Iv got my buddy Brian he's going to give me a hand in the morning.
Here's where I'm at

After not sleeping well and dreaming of killing engineers all night I'm having my coffee and going back to the shop. I even watched a few videos on it. So now my plan is keep taking bolts out until something comes off the top of the motor. I've a strong feeling there's going to be extra parts.

after keeping my eyes peeled on the ebay's i finally found the long outta production 575m6 microphone that I've been looking for.one that i could afford anyways.it's pretty crusty and it'll get some restoration.I've got a an O.E.astatic cord for it and I'll change the caps for good measure too.I'm pretty stoked.

Ventured out to one of my 'local to me' yards & secured parts for a 'Plan-B' brake re-work on my '99 OBS truck.

After replacing all of the brake parts @ the beginning of '22, I've been dealing w/an inconsistent pedal & residual pressure on the rear brakes (sometimes it's there, others it's not). We got a Tech2 scanner connected to it & purged things @ the ABS + multiple re-bleeds of the system but still dealing w/the inconsistent pedal & pressurized rears. Consensus is the ABS pump is sticking likely from funky fluid before the service.

So it's either replacing the part & hoping that does it; replacing everything & have to repeat the bleeding + purge/bleed cycle of the ABS module w/the Tech2 software, or 'Plan-B' nix the ABS controller for an adjustable prop valve & go old school.

You'll need an adapter with the RWAL delete then it all bolts right up. I did the same to my 98.

Barring that would it otherwise be as simple as disabling via tune?
Yes and no mine is already tuned and deleted however there's wrong and right ways to do things and on them it's a question of budget. Mine was very cheaply done. You might say half azz. Unplugged and tuned with 2 gasket stile block off plates.
