Reactions: DRIVEN and Clutch
calipers and wheel cylinders on the truck. now working on the functional but leaky af ps box.

Started the morning moving by delivering my buddies 79' Volvo 242 GT over to Dallas.

Came back with the empty trailer and moved the "truck with no tires" out of the way after trimming the front fender lips and installing remote charging leads. Along with that we measured up what was needed to raise it when aired up to a "reasonable" ride height plus found several other fixes it needs.

After clearing that spot in the driveway, winched the Boxster on the trailer and dropped it in to replace the clutch/flywheel/pressure plate to get it on the road.

What shop did that truck come from? I recognize it from around but can't remember what shop. Seen it @ Lonestar Throwdown as well.

I'll have to ask my buddy that owns it and had that shop do the work. It's been shown several times, I wouldn't drive it down the street and back as it is, even though I did today. 😵

Changed the oil & rotated tires on the GFs car.. if that counts..🤣

To someone who can't, maybe. 🤣

'nuther LS1tech copy/paste. Started painting the engine bay tonight with legit matched rattle can.

I ended up zapping a 1/8" thick chunk of flat stock onto the back side of the shock tower to have something to hold the heat to build the tower back up again. It was a good bit of welding and grinding, but I got a decent solution.

And after shots. I dumped a can and change and came up short, gonna need another to get this good and done. I pressure washed this thing like 4 times today trying to blast away at the filth. The car will never be this clean again.

Having 2 other shells, I know what they're supposed to look like, but even seeing this much is surreal. It looks soooo much less like a piece of crap. And yes, I will spray it back to the firewall once I have more paint.
