Decided to start the removal of the ancient coal/wood heater hoping be able to make some coin off it just to see the body bottom is rusted free from the base. So I moved it out from the corner enough to clean up the floor & moved the heavy base out. Now I really need to get it out & get someone to haul it away unless one of you guys near Elderton want to come & get it for scrap.

That is a good looking stove. Restore it! I wish I was close by but I'm in TX. It takes me a whole day to just get to the closes state border!

With anticipation of the electrician coming on the 29th, I went back into the attic to get the compressor wiring fished. Hit a literal wall last weekend, so bought a fish tape and wow the right tools save time! I got the plug end wired and done, and will run the drop to the panel next week when electrician is here.
Still need to get wiring setup for HVAC unit, bath fan, etc. Not bad for a rookie...

The base of it where it was to be attached to the base rusted away so when I lifted it to see how hard it would be to move it the stayed put. I was hoping to find someone who would/could restore it but after it seperated I just called it scrap. Now gotta figure at where to drag it to so its next "owner" can take it.

Finally dried up here to pour the slab. Had to get 3 loads of dirt and 1 load of rock. One load of rock and one load of dirt to put in driveway just to get dump truck to site. Had stuck dump truck one day. Progress for sure. Metal building up in a couple weeks or so. Lots of clean up and fixing the ruts

Bought a spare hoist today, going to toss it into the overflow shop.

Someone bought it, assembled it, and never got to use it. Included leveler, extra chains, etc.

Yes, it's just the basic 2 ton foldable harbor freight model. BUT, with all the extras it would've cost at least $300 in store and I got it for $160... so, tools is tools to make parts is parts.
