Started pulling stuff out in preparation of moving the truck cab. I've been holding onto some old auditorium seats from my father's high school in Hutchinson. He got them when they remodeled (or tore it down, I don't remember) because he works on furniture but shys away from metal so they became mine. The middle seat just happens to be my number: 13. He's tried tossing them a couple of times and they even lived outdoors until he made me stash them. I just can't let go of history this cool, the seats have sentimental value even though it wasn't my school.

Not a whole lot of prep to do back here before putting up the H.F. "shed", but a little. There's a core support from my '78 Elk being swallowed by the ground behind the bed, and truck rear windows, exhaust, a bumper, and other assorted junk in it. A dead lawnmower has been autopsied and scattered and some sheet metal and guttering needs to disappear as well. Note the F Body plastics just weathering away....

I always forget I have another Elk bumper, and laid it behind Gina just to imagine what it might look like.

I also need all of these tool/ socket cases to go away. If you want 'em speak up before I throw 'em in the trash can.

Recover those sets with an automotive theme and powder coat the metal. Would look cool

I'm torn between making them original or going with black, red, & white but they probably won't get powder coated since I no longer get it for free. I have no idea when they'll get fixed but they're going up in the rafters for now. After I get all set up I should be able to do everything but the upholstery work and use real paint instead of Rustoleum.

Attempting to clean and organize the new “shop” after moving to the new house this pasted weekend. A lot of work ahead to get this garage in order. I’m hopeful I can get an addition built within the next couple years to gain some extra floor space. The good thing is the new garage already has 12 ft high ceilings so a 2 post lift will be going in as well.

Got a big boy compressor.
230 volt, 11.5 cfm, 60 gallon. Will fit my needs just fine.

Also, got power to the garage. 60 amp service. Should be plenty.

Started hanging Osb and removing old drywall. It will get painted white this summer.
