They did, about 3 years agos. The intake hose they list has not available for the past 7 months. If you try to order it they will cancel it on you. Tried to order a new vapor can from them but they kept canceling my order. Tomco has stopped making the E4ME adjusting tools and lean stop repair kits, I bought one of their last NOS repair kits over the phone with them a few months ago. Also can't get the EGR control solenoids, replacement weatherstripping that actually fits, direct fit exhaust hangers, WOT relays, direct fit headers, etc. They stopped making replacement rear glass for a few years already. I have an easier time getting parts for my 1946 farm tractor than for my 1986 Regal. Soon the only parts that will be available will be the expensive upgrade kits like the $7K brake upgrades or $7k to 20k LS crate swaps.
If you need a replacement part, do not delay getting it. Parts are being discontinued right and left now.
many times when you go to parts store and they say they don't have the part it's because the guy at the computer has never worked on a car and knows nothing except what the computer says......you can check at a circle track store for parts cause there are still plenty of G body's being raced. You need to have a little bit of initiative to find parts sometimes. Some of you younger guys don't realize what it was like for us older guys that never had the internet and trial and error was the way of the world back then. At least with these cars we don't need to know the guys name who drove it off the line , the day and hour it came of the line and the 3rd and 8th digit in the Vin to find a part
Do the hobby a favor all you guys that 'hate' not being able to find parts; don't buy any other old platforms esp chryslers or you will get a reality check for 0$ fast... I can find more parts continuing to be made for my Cutlass than the family's 97 Durango or 01 CRV. If you are having trouble finding parts, you're looking for gm parts at parts stores that are geared more towards hondas and nissans then, or you're looking for obscure parts that you dont even need. I have had to coach parts store people into giving me the part I want because they did not want to step away from the pc monitor and go find it. When I made it clear I wasn't going anywhere until they did go get me the part I wanted or determined whether or not it was in stock, they came out with the part - covered in dust because of all the people like you who gave up and all the employees like them who didn't care if the part was in stock or not and wanted to just stand there and not do anything... I bring in a copy of my broken parts with me. If you walk into advanced and order an ignition switch / neutral safety switch they'll hand you the one to 90s fwd cutlass if you let them - so dont!

Like i said Summit and Jegs are my friends. Of course! Some of the parts on my car are from the junk yard. In addition I had to build my 75 nova from f body and X body parts.(when in doubt Frankenstein it).

I quite going to parts stores years ago. I am almost done with GM dealerships too because they keep telling me the parts I need to keep the car running are obsolete, GM's cute term for its discontinued, go buy a new car instead. Anymore I either search the internet or old fashion phone calling to find parts I need. Rockauto's parts slection keeps shrinking almost daliy. Except for expensive upgrage packages, Jegs and Summit don't carry nearly as many parts for G bodies like they once did 5 years ago.
Compare that to my old 1946 Farmall Model A, I can order brand new parts from Case/IH or aftermarket vendors, even very obscure parts. While I was just barely able to get one of the last lean stop repair kits to save my Qjet from the junk pile, without that $7 kit I would have to buy another complete E4ME for $50 or more besides a likely rebuild. But, yes I didn't really need to save all that money and my current carb do I? Perhaps farm tractors have just spoiled me for having competent parts logistics. Also I don't know why you would call such parts unneeded, I sure need them for the car to operate properly and pass inpection so I can drive it legally. I sure don't like leaky weatherstripping and pumping water out of my floor pans either or the engine sucking in hot air.
If I was a GM shareholder I would be pissed if they were still making parts or replenishing the stock on 30 year old cars that are very limited in numbers
I have never once had an issue with parts being discontinued......and im finishing a frame off resto. Between this forum, MalibuRacing, ebay, craigslist, facebook groups, and local junkyards there is no reason you can't find what you need. SummitRacing is another great carrier that carries a lot of factory replacement parts. If you can't find something you aren't looking around enough.
And for the dude that said one day the only things available will be the expensive $7k brake swaps......if you can't find a cheaper - under $1k - alternative to that then read my above statement.
If I go to Advanced or Autozone right now and look for certain gaskets, some employees wouldn't find it in the computer - when in fact those gaskets do exist and are in stock. As aftermarket companies like 'Mr Gasket' step up and make better gasket kits these type of problems seem trivial. Obviously, not everyone who owns a G can afford to buy expensive replacement parts. I think we really are seeing the turning point where parts are going to be equally or more expensive than making a payment on a new subcompact model, whereas in past times a g-body was much cheaper to own than making payments on anything. In 2015, these are finally becoming hot rods they deserve to become and ceasing to be convenient cars for broke people to avoid car payments and insurance as they were in the past. Idk about you, but I think that's a good thing - even if it does price me out of the market on an occasional part and I do have to put buying it off a week or two down the line than before. It's worth paying more for better parts so the book value of our cars does increase in the future...
Yeah a 7k brake upgrade!?!. You could do the blazer spindle swap with new hubs, rotors, calipers, brackets, and hoses for right around $500 if you did some digging.
