I haven’t experienced this directed toward myself but,
Some guys on here have a peculiar way of sharing information , they come off as though they are superior and are vaguely insulting
Then the dog pile starts and two or more members start hacking at the OP
Some guys don’t get down like that , and prefer to say FU and walk away .
Maybe that’s what happened here

The OP of the thread showed a gaping hole in the firewall. It was suggested that he pull the carpet. I showed a picture of my floor, which resulted from a hole in the same spot. He said it was all fixed and deleted the thread.
Personally, I couldn’t care less if his floor is Swiss cheese, but threads are usually left up for others to benefit from them.
I saw the thread when it was current , but missed the dog pile.
I couldn’t give sh*t about his ride either , I was attempting to explain why the OP first abandoned then 86’d his thread
Funny how people are playing the “ benefit others” card lol
I would say easily more than 1/3 of the threads on this forum are abandoned or have inconclusive endings .
Not a rub or a complaint , I like it here .

I don't see this at all. But maybe that's the case because I'm one of the ones that you see dumping on others, but I don't think so.
I'm positive that some are too thin skinned as well. But I haven't seen anyone here that is a consistent contributor that is doing anything other than trying to help.
That particular thread would have shown a pic of my rotten floor due to a wet carpet. So it would have been beneficial.
I agree a lot of threads have no conclusions.
