Which flywheel do I need?

For those of you that had to put a bend/angle in the reservoir inlet tube, do you have a picture of how you did it? I bought some 90 degree angle vacuum tubes but I'm not sure how I'm going to make it work and if they will even hold up to brake fluid.

I just make a bracket that I attached to the brake using one of the bolts for the master and the reservoir line was basically straight down to the master clutch...where did you put the reservoir?

also do you have a stop for your clutch pedal?

No I don't, but I thought about that, I will have to make one.

I'm having trouble understanding what you did. I haven't mounted my reservoir, I figure it can be mounted wherever it needs to be. The issue is that the reservoir line is kinked under the brake booster because they sit so close to each other. You said you got your line to run straight from the reservoir to the cylinder. I dont think it's even a possibility for me unless I clocked the cylinder a certain way that would ruin everything I just worked to achieve with the pedal geometry.

the master sits on an angle pointed downwards so the location where the filler hose connects to the master isn't interfered with by the brake booster..

dang well then I got screwed. :blam:

Got my flywheel today, waste of money...I dont know what I was thinking. Will be getting the driveshaft shortened today and then after I modify the headers it should just be a matter of assembly. I totaled my daily driver on Saturday so I am suddenly in even more of a rush to get the elky running. 😳

yes, out of a 91 Camaro. I kind of thought it was going to happen...and I thought that's what you were warning me about originally but I didnt see any way to avoid it since the master mounts right under the brake booster. I'm going to have to figure out a way to put a 90 degree bend in there somehow. This is in an El Camino, i'm not sure if it comes with a large brake booster or something.

like check this one out.

and its adjustable...over 300 bucks though.. I wonder if I could thread one of those metal fittings into my plastic master.

I don't know what the problem could be. I installed the line before I installed the brake booster the filler line is coming up the side of the brake booster and attached to the reservoir. I think I was pretty clear about the problem with the line feeding the slave that I had since the line was pointed at the steering column and rubbing it...I don't know how you confused that for the brake booster. I have never heard of anyone having an issue with the filler line.

So....you dont have any pictures? There was no possibility for interference with the slave line and steering column, which is why I started second guessing what I read online, that's all. It doesn't really matter at this point as it is irrelevant to the issue at hand.

The master cylinder mounts RIGHT under the brake booster, correct? Seems like a logical possibility. What vehicle did you do your swap on? I got the filler line to connect but it is kinked right under the booster and too short to allow for mounting with the fbody bracket (not a big deal).

I used a stainless steel braided line and the adapter for it so by your picture you'll see that the outlet looks to be pointing directly at the steering shaft and that's why I installed a 90 degree fitting on the adapter. The filler tube location is the same as your unit and I had no issues with the line and the brake booster. I don't have any pictures of it and my car is at the race shop for the winter, I'm putting a reconditioned frame and a roller cam in the engine, changing the doors, modifying the hood to fit an cold air box and I think that's it. I'll take a picture of it when I'm at the shop this weekend.
