thanks, I like the looks of them better than mine...but do they throw a pattern beam?...the clear chinese lenses throws a light that blind the oncoming traffic so I had to point them down. The hellas I have now can be pointed down the road to give me a better view of the road without bothering the oncoming traffic..

You know I'm not sure because I haven't driven the car that much but they are bright as hell.

if you ever get a few $$$ spare get the bixenon set for the hi/lo and you'll go looking for old country roads...with 4 hid hi beams the wake up the dead when going by a cemetery...

I guess I am the only one that loves the original sealed beam lights :? I have never had another car that had headlights as bright as any of my Regals that I have had. I just run standard Wagner Halogen sealed beam lights 8)

I'm not sure since you have the bigger sealed beam. Would that be the same one for maybe like an s-10 blazer? If so that might be a starting point.

Re: Which way did you guys go with the sealed beam headlamps

Anybody do an H4 composite headlight upgrade on an 78-81 Malibu? Pics? Part numbers? I'd like to see if it was worth it over using my brights.

For the record I've got 6000k eBay HID's on my DD S10 and I love them. When it's cold outside, one won't fire up, sometimes both, until I manually turn off and on the headlights. Then they work perfectly. Also they do cause some RFI with the radio when they are on. Apart from that, it's hard driving at night without them now

Re: Which way did you guys go with the sealed beam headlamps

HID's are for douche bags... Driving around with low beams HID are WAY brighter than normal high beams. I can't even tell you how many accidents I've almost had being blinded by ******* with HID's. The worst are BMW's and a Mercedes' I want to rig my car up with like 10-12 forward facing Hella day lighters just to night blind the sh*t out of people with HID head lights and see how they like it. And when they crash I'll turn around, pull over, and beat them with a pipe.

I hope they make HID lights illegal... Don't convert regular lights are plenty bright.
