those cibie lenses look good...I used cibies on a volvo I had years ago and forgot all about them so thanks for mentioning them. I like the idea they have a different lense for low/hi and hi beams

Wow Pontiacgp, so you have actual experience with Cebie head lamps! This is sweet cause this means that I'm really on the right track. I just wasn't sure because I have never seen or heard of any g-body owners using this brand.

the cibies I had were not a conversion lense. They were 6" round driving lites with 100 watt bubs mounted on the bumper and they were a good quality lite back then, a few decades ago.

Oh I see but like you said the quality of the light was good back then which I'm sure that it still of good quality today! Heck I'm sure with a wire upgrade to the light harness, it will be way better then my stock sealed beam lights.

Are these hid lights a direct replacement?

you need to get some conversion lenses. The HID are a plug and play set up and take about 20 minutes to wire them up. I jut burnt a bixenon lite so I picked up a new kit for $100 and have a spare bulb and two spare ballasts. The first kits I bought for the bixenon and another single HID beam kit for the bright lites cost me close to $375 a few years ago so I'm glad the prices came down....

what part number are those hellas and do they throw a pattern beam. I had the cheap chinese lenses that threw the light all over the place so I bought hellas but they don't look like yours...mine are like these..
