Good factory cores that are untouched by remanufacturers are worth some money. Reman companies often butcher up cores. Wonder why Chevy guys don't like Qjets? I like mine on my SBC.

What are spare Q-jets going for nowadays? I finally found an older, non-electronic Quadrajet. I'm gonna give rebuilding a try.

I recently sold a 800 cfm qudrajet for $300 and just bought a recent rebuilt 750 cfm quadrajet last night for $80. I have 4 quadrajets currently.

Some people these days expect everything for nothing. I've found that the older the car, and/or the lower the price, the more idiots and the worse you get beat on the price.

With cars the age of these... well, good luck.

Heck, I've got a 4wd s10 blazer kicking around. Starts, runs, drives, 4x4 does its thing and stops. Had a salvage history from a bent bumper, hood dent, and broken grille. All that stuff swapped out, but still leaks ps and has exhaust leaks everywhere.

I've stopped working on anything so I (not very aggressively) offered it for sale. All I get are plenty of lowball $250 and $300 offers without anyone even coming to see it.

I guess if someone is hard up for cash the lowballers eventually get a taker. For me, I'll just let that one sit. Space isn't an issue, but if I needed it gone or tried harder, I guess then again I could actually put the effort into trying to get it sold.

Unbelievable what they are running. I have an easy way to re-bush the throttle shaft if anybody needs it. I did a bunch of them over the years

He's already said he isn't a domestic/G body guy, why keep something he really has no interest in. I'd rather see it go to somebody that actually WANTS it, but I think it's priced too high for being a regal and what it still needs

Next time make it clear that you need to have contact with the buyer as you both are leaving to meet up, or you won't be there. I always contact sellers that day and as I'm leaving just to avoid such a thing.

i asked him the morning of if he would be there at 12 and he said yes, i genuinely think this guy wanted to screw me. i found out his info on white pages so im going to send him a letter and see if he responds to that

all it needs to be road ready is the rear lines put in, i have them mostly complete but tbh i just picked up this crusty 240 that i have been dreaming about for the past 2 years
